Blue Feather Communication Collaborative, LLC – Communication Groups hosted at The Sensory Play Place

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern participation in language groups (“Groups”) offered by Blue Feather Communication Collaborative, LLC (“Blue Feather”) and hosted at The Sensory Play Place (“Venue”). By enrolling a child, parents/guardians agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Groups are designed for children in developmental ranges

Enrollment requires parent/guardian consent.

Children must meet any participation guidelines communicated by Blue Feather staff.

3. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

Parents/guardians play an essential role in supporting their child’s success in the Groups. Responsibilities include:

Consent & Registration: Completing all enrollment forms and providing accurate information.

Attendance: Ensuring timely arrival at the Venue.

Supervision: Remaining on-site, or designating an approved caregiver.

Engagement: Encouraging the child’s participation 

Communication: Informing staff of any medical, developmental, or behavioral needs.

Respect: Following Venue rules and treating staff, other families, and children with courtesy.

Safety: Notifying staff immediately of any concerns regarding the child’s well-being.

4. Parent Involvement

Parents/guardians are asked to actively participate in group activities or workshops with their child.

Feedback and collaboration with staff are encouraged to support each child’s progress.

Parents/guardians agree to uphold a positive, supportive environment for all participants.

5. Code of Conduct

Children and parents/guardians must respect others and avoid behavior that is unsafe and may cause harm to others.

Bullying, harassment, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child follows the group rules to the best of their child’s ability.

6. Privacy & Safety

Blue Feather collects only necessary information for enrollment and safety.

Personal data will not be sold or shared outside of program administration.

Staff monitor group sessions to ensure a safe environment.

7. Liability & Waivers

Parents/guardians acknowledge that participation involves typical risks of group activities.

Blue Feather and The Sensory Play Place are not liable for injuries except where required by law.

Parents/guardians must sign a separate waiver form.

8. Suspension or Removal

Blue Feather reserves the right to suspend or remove a child from the Groups if these Terms are violated, to protect the safety and well-being of all participants.

9. Changes to Terms

Blue Feather may update these Terms periodically. Parents/guardians will be notified of significant changes.
